Google Maps

A couple of points worth mentioning…about Google Maps.

When you get directions to some place, it suggests multiple routes, with the probability of current traffic situation accounted for. Apart from this, today I observed another little gem…when you get directions to a place that’s nearby, Google Maps also provides you a direction for Walking the distance.

Talk about UX beyond the interface – if the application suggests a healthy way of covering the distance! Way to go…
