GMail Filtered Search

Maybe you know this already; it was a recent discovery for me. GMail usability is augmented by a very useful feature – of a filtered search.

Step 1: Click on down arrow inside the search box

Step 2: Configure options – sent from, to, words, date

Step 3: Click on “Create filter with this search”

Step 4: Choose actions on filtered search and click “Create Filter”

Try it out, it’s very useful for those who get plenty of mails and use GMail as their primary interface. On a lighter note, stumbling upon this by accident was fun and it makes me wonder what else is in store, to experience GMail better.
