Finally after many years Google made the first significant change in YouTube. YouTube LeanBack.

This Flash-based micro-presence really is a benchmark in Usability and Minimalist behavior, while still providing all the features of YouTube. As the name suggests, you simply have to “lean back” and watch videos as soon as you launch YouTube LeanBack. It starts playing your playlist, and provides an easy 1-click switch between your videos. LeanBack provides large and simple menu items as seen in the picture above. Google smart search does what it does the best!

When you click on “Search” it provides a nice keypad interface for your search query on the left, and instantly shows results on the right pane the moment you type/punch characters. You simply need to try this to see how fast it works!

The top-right corner allows you to choose between “All” and “HD” videos.

This new clutter-free interface makes it really “Your Tube”.

Ineed! One minor correction though. It is not Flash based, it is actually HTML/CSS (except for the video player it seems).
